To those husbands who have asth-ma wife syndrome (just like what my hubby calls himself); be proud because you are actually investing in making your marriage work.

John M. Gottman, PH.D., the New York Times Bestseller of the book The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work said; men who allow their wives to influence them have happier marriages and less likely to divorce than men who resist their wives influence.

But of course it takes two to make the relationship  work. So, wives on the other hand should treat their husbands with honor and respect.

I’m very blessed because I have an emotionally intelligent husband. But he prefer to be called “asthmatic”.
